Installation problems....

I'm tring to install gstat-2.3.11 on red hat 7.1

# ./configure

gives the error:

...
creating src/makefile
creating libcsf/src/makefile
creating doc/tex/makefile
sed: can't read ./doc/tex/makefile.in: No such file or directory
creating src/config.h
src/config.h is unchanged
#

Anyone got advice on what I have done wrong please....
