Re: writing variograms to .gif files
Not all versions of gnuplot support the gif format, because of
the UNISYS license problems with this format. To find out,
start gnuplot and type:
set term gif
If gif is supported, gnuplot responds with:
Options are 'small size 640,480 '
if not, you will get some error message. In the latter case, you
need to get a gnuplot version that supports gif. I admit that
the response of gstat is not so helpfull, but this is probably
because gstat cannot get the exit code (error!) of gnuplot on
your platform (Win32?). This is a compiler/platform problem
that I cannot fix.
