gstat 2.0f

Dear GSTAT-user,

I downloaded GSTAT 2.0f and working with it but when I want to plot 
the result the following message appears:

gstat: can't find fit.log (get gnuplot 3.6)

In my home-dir there is a doc arjfolder called 'gnuplot-beta340.tar'. 
It wasn't possible to extract. So, what can I do?

I only want to plot the results. What are my chances? Can anybody 
help me or just give me hint what to do?
