Loading variograms

Hello

I'm trying to use GSTAT to model some previously computed variograms ---
I can't compute and model in one go as I would have to log on and leave the
computer I'm using running for several hours, so I have to compute the
variogram as a background process. I'm using version 2.0f. I've tried set
load and this won't neither will specifying the variogram using 
variogram(variable): 'file.est';. Set load worked with earlier versions of
GSTAT but I couldn't see the points on the variogram and had to model
blindly. Any suggestions as to how I might resolve this problem would be
gratefully received.
